We created this website because of the two things we love: Rockland County and Garage Sales.
After visiting other well-known classifieds and garage sale websites, we became frustrated because our beautiful county wasn't properly known, but simply referred to as part of "Northern Jersey" or "Hudson Valley Area".
And so, we wanted to build a website that is dedicated for garage sales in Rockland County only.
We also firmly believe that nobody should pay to advertise/announce garage sales. We wanted to provide a free resource for Rockland residents so that they can easily announce or find garage sales in different parts of Rockland County.

Member's Account
Signing up to create our website account is 100% free, and all you need is an email address (or you can login using your facebook, twitter, gmail, or yahoo account). While you can still post garage sales as a guest without an account, there are 10 good reasons to consider for creating an account to join the community. See the comparison below:

What does a "bumping" a post mean?
If a member A posts his yard sale today, then his posting will be shown at the top of the list unless until another member posts a sale.
However, member A can "bump" his posting 24 hours after the post (or after the last "bump"), which would bring his posting to the top, resulting in member B posting to show after A's.
Member B can also "bump" her post as well but this is just an added feature to those deligent members!
Guest user's postings are always shown after/below the member's postings.
